My daughter asked me to write a Christmas song, and I finally broke down and wrote one today. Christmas songs are timeless and I’m happy to write, “The Ghetto Santa Claus”. I hope you enjoy.
I wrote this song in 2008 about my biological father who I had been searching for, and I didn’t know if I would ever find him. People don’t understand the pain of not knowing who your biological parents are and how incomplete it makes you. This song is for all searching for their identity. I understand and may you find comfort in coping with knowing the unknown.
Live, Laugh, Love and Positive vibes until next time.
Please be sure to check out the sequel “I Should Have Turned Around”
I wrote this song for people who are in complicated situationships. I hope you enjoy. If so, please leave a comment letting me know you are feeling it and always remember to…..

The year 2023 was a challenging season for my family and myself, and that is why I have been missing in action. I looked forward to the year 2024, and the storm still hasn’t passed. I would like to reflect on some positives that were accomplished in 2023. I completed some unfinished business and acquired my Master of Business Administration(MBA) degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio. I’m proud of myself for finally accomplishing a task on my bucket list. I will post some pictures below.
The year 2024 has been a glimpse and I really don’t remember it and it’s almost 2025. I don’t want 2024 to leave without acknowledging my trials and tribulations because, at the end of the day, it has built character and perseverance. And I’m still standing with my competent mindset to write a post-entry before the year ends.
My blog is centered around positivity and I’m going to be candid, it’s tough posting about positive things when life has been a bloodsucker and society has so many hurt souls preying on others to endure the same pain. I would like to take a moment of silence for any and everyone battling any type of ailment. Remember, it doesn’t rain forever and the sun will shine and so will you. I hope that it gets better and that 2025 is your year to thrive! Keep the faith and appreciate the most important things in life.

Self-love is the most critical and important aspect of life. You have to prioritize yourself above anyone else, and I don’t mean this in a selfish way. To truly love, care for, and appreciate others, you must first learn to love yourself. Self-love should form the foundation of your life, and it should be strong and fulfilling. However, it is easier said than done and requires practice, patience, and a process. It is an ongoing journey because there are many factors such as abuse, trauma, self-harm, and societal pressures that challenge your vulnerability. Nevertheless, self-love acts as a powerful shield, preventing any negative influences from prospering. Today, I challenge you to prioritize self-love so that you can share love with others.
