Tammy Campbell Brooks is an American author and songwriter known for her emotionally powerful storytelling across both literature and music. She writes all of her own song lyrics and is the author of The Ghetto Blues, Daddy Issues, the Tar Baby series, and Brilliant Daye.
As a songwriter, Tammy blends modern R&B with themes of love, empowerment, cultural identity, resilience, and Black womanhood. Her growing catalog includes albums such as B.A.D.D.I.E., Masterpiece, Christmas Groove, and Unapologetic Pride, showcasing her commitment to authentic, emotionally driven artistry.
Through her books and music, Tammy creates work that speaks to healing, truth, and transformation. Her mission is to inspire confidence, spark reflection, and leave a lasting legacy for future generations. She is also the founder of BP Legacy Productions, a record label established in honor of her late parents.
